Just Girls!

Have you ever just needed to get away and just relax. To be a little selfish, and say I need some me time. When the offer came, I could not resist. My sister Vickie, first met Tammy when they were 3 years old. We lived next door. They have known each other for 50 years. Tammy was always my other big sister. We always considered her part of our family. Tammy and her husband Paul moved to Arizona a couple of years ago and Vickie has went to see her a couple of times. She invited us all to go this go round. It was a great, great trip and so fun catching up with her. She has a pool at her home, and we had alot of pool time soaking up the sun and laughing about all the dumb things we have done over the years.  Tammy is a wonderful person inside and out. Very talented, too! She gave me lots of help with some projects that I'm going to get done. When we first got there we stopped for lunch, loved how most places have outside eating in Arizona.

 

 This is in Sedona, and we liked this wooden lizard. I think they liked it a little too much!

While we were in Sedona, we took a fun jeep ride all over the rocks. Very fun, but a little cool. The funny thing or not so funny. When you take a bumpy ride, you get shaken up a little bit. When we got to our destination after a few hours we found out the bathrooms were closed. Why? Because of the goverment shutdown!! Wow! It was either find a hidden area or pee your pants! So yes, we watered the cactus. We had a couple more hours of Jeep rides to get back to town. So enjoyed this week, catching up with all of my sisters!
