I really can't believe that yesterday was the 4th of July! This summer is flying by. We went down to Logan the night of the 3rd to watch the fireworks in Logan. Sonics have there shakes 1/2 off after 8:00 and seeing that we all LOVE icecream we had to have one. We have a great place where we have watched them since the kids were very little. One of the churches lawns. We love it.
Then on the night of the 4th, we always have our party. We have done this for a long time so it is a tradition now. It doesn't feel right if we don't. We love the fun, games, and good food, but mainly just being with our family!
After the party, we have loved to sleep out with the kids. It's fun to hear the fireworks going off. This year was a little different because of the fireworks ban, but glad for it where it is so dry. Very thankful for the rain today! But we played a game of football, then truth or dare. You can learn a little in that game. Hope every one enjoyed their day! ReplyDeleteit was a little different 4th, but it sure is fun to carry on some same traditions, I am glad you were able to. you sure have a fun family, those strawberries looked yummy! I may have to play truth or dare with my kids learn a thing or two, lol. happy 4th :)
