Fun Rockin' the Barnyard!

We live in such a beautiful area of the world! We really have extreme weather from one thing to the next. I love beautiful sunsets, one of the kids took this picture. My date is wrong, but then again it usually is on my camera.

 We have been busy lately, but we have enjoyed lots of swimming either at Downata or out to the lake.

 Fair week is always fun. I love the Downey Fair, they always have so many things to do for everyone. These are the kids guitars that they decorated. Dalton's is the U.S.A one and Michaela did the pink one. She placed second in her catagory.

One of the high lights for me was I won the grocery giveaway! I couldn't believe it. I always put an amount in hoping to win, and this year it worked. I was about 2 dollars off from the amount of $206.

 

The kids love everything about the fair, and they run from the time it starts until it closes. Dalton had so much fun on the slides, face painting (Ironman), and then he got his picture drawn. 

Michaela worked hard and entered alot of things in the fair this year. She loved all the groups that came, Katie and her danced alot and had there picture taken with some. Michaela also did the talent show taking 2nd in her catagory for piano. 

 
 We also enjoyed our parents during the fair. Doug's parents came up and went to the rodeo with us on Thursday night, lots of mud for the cowboys. Then on Saturday my parents came up to the car show and concert.

 We enjoyed seeing "Facing West". Corbin (in the white shirt) and Isaac (in the red) are Doug's cousins boys that she adopted a little bit after we got Dalton. They did a great job

 This is just me a Doug bothering our kids, because we don't do selfies the right way. I really didn't know there was a right way.  As my kids said, what kind of picture is that?

 ...and one more of Dalton in Preston with his face painted again. Now that all of this is over we gear up and get ready for school to start.
