Double Trouble!

Well, last Tuesday Doug went under the knife again. They called us on our way down wondering if we could make it there earlier. We were like you bet! Well we got there earlier to just wait! Things had come up, so we got it at the time we were suppose to. This guy was not real happy about that, but stayed in good spirits. He had a Bear Hugger on, it is like a heated blanket. When they finally got Doug in the surgery went very well, except that he had two hernias. One of them did not show on the CAT scan. So he had a few more incisions than what we thought he would have.

As I was waiting, this guy kept me watching him. There were a few of them almost flying into the window!
And of course, when you wait and wait in a hospital, so a little bit of junk food is called for!
Doug is doing good, he went back to work today after 5 days off. Still pretty sore, but doing good as long as Dalton doesn't poke him in the stomach.

  1. So glad things went well for Doug and hope he recovers fully! The Archery looks like a lot of fun. Please let us know if you ever need anything - I'm always here!:)
