Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Amazing!

I really can't believe that we are into the second month of 2018. My beautiful daughter has been very busy getting things done. She started off the year with a blood drive for her senior project. I was nervous hoping that it turned out great for her. It did!! A lot of people showed up just from seeing the sign which was nice. They received 31 units of blood which will save 63 lives. I am so very proud of her. You don't realize how important blood is until you need it and they don't have it. My sister in law that is fighting cancer was telling me what a great project it is because there have been two different times that she has needed blood and she couldn't have it till the next day cause they were short.
Michaela's mentor is Piercely Burmester, she is such a sweet girl. She has been so good to work with Michaela. When Michaela asked President Smith if she could have her blood drive at the church, he was so great. He also suggested that Piercely would be a great mentor. He was so right. He is a great man, who truly loves us.
This is the group of people that helped with the drive.
This is just one part of her senior project, but it is done. This girl amazes me with all that she has going on. So very proud of all that she does. She just got done talking in stake conference, and did such a great job. The youth just surprise me in there willingness to serve. It was nice to have more youth talk, our neighbor Jonah talked too and did a great job. The spirit was so wonderful, so glad I was there.
In part of her talk she talked about some ancestors that she had been studying and it has been fun learning about the history that we have. Also we learn that we are related to more people in this town from the one ancestor. So fun!
