Grandma "D's" Christmas

It was Grandma D's (Talbot)christmas party last night. We had so much fun. When Michaela was just little, grandma would always call her by her full name Michaela D. Well Michaela must have thought she needed a D, cause she became Grandma D, instead of Grandma Talbot.

We had it at the Winder church this year, it was great. Lots more room for the kids to play. Everyone made it except one grandchild who just had a baby. That makes 10 great grandchildren. Michaela and Eva sharing the spotlight.

Margaret always has a table where everyone wins a present. Dalton won some dishes. He asked me what he was suppose to do with them. I told him he could save them for his wife. His reply "NO WAY"

Some one always gets a gag gift too. This year, Doug's sister Joy. She would never be caught dead in this!

Then finally, Uncle Monte saves the day kind of! Santa was on his way to visit, when he got into some very bad roads. Well Uncle Monte came in with his hand made gun claiming he tried to scare Santa away because all he ever brought him was a lump of coal. When he shot his gun Santa's bag fell out of his sleigh and Santa took off. We had a few mad kids at Uncle Monte. All was good when they all got a gift from Santa's bag. It is a fun party, just to be all together!

  1. Uncle Monte sounds like a character! Family parties are the best!
