Summertime fun!

Well, we finally have both kids back home, and together again after all of the camps and high adventure outings. Everyone had a fun time learning and trying new things. Dalton did great at scout camp and earned alot of new merit badges. Michaela loved high adventure learning how to rock climb and getting over some fears of heights. We have been fishing a few times and this guy did great. He caught the biggest and the most, we just need him to put his own worm on his hook now. For such a tough boy he doesn't like that, or the cleaning part.

 We had them for supper, cooking them on the grill. I love trout, but he didn't like all the bones.

 For along time, Doug has been trying to get Michaela back on a horse but she has been a little scared from getting bucked off another horse years ago. Well for some reason, she decided that she was going to do it again.

 ....and this is the best horse ever and he has been so good.  He is really my horse, Doug bought him back in we think 1987 for me when he was a baby. You wouldn't think he was old when  he gets out of the corrall. He runs all over, thanks to good neighbors that have gotten him in when we are not home. Any way she has had a great time riding him.

 As for me, I have not had good luck with my sun glasses this summer. My second pair!!! Oh, well carry on summer, we are loving it!
